01Who we are
WorkFast is operated by Pepul Tech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India, at 70 Gomathi Nagar, Srinivasa Nagar, Velachery, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600042 ("WorkFast", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@workfast.ai.
Purchases made in US dollars are sold by our authorised reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle's buyer terms govern the transaction itself — the charge, the receipt, sales tax and refunds — and these terms govern your use of the service. Purchases in Indian rupees are processed by Razorpay.
These terms, together with the privacy policy and the refund policy, are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the service you confirm you have read and accepted them.
02The service
WorkFast provides AI-powered assistants ("AI employees") that perform routine business communication and administration on your behalf and on your own accounts: answering customer inquiries by email, text and phone, following up on quotes, sending reminders for unpaid invoices, booking appointments, and related tasks. The service is delivered online at hire.workfast.com and workspace.workfast.com.
The set of tasks, integrations and roles may change over time. We will not remove a capability that a paying customer relies on without reasonable notice.
03Your account
- You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register.
- You agree to give true, accurate and complete information during and after registration, and you are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite.
- Keep sign-in codes and connected accounts secure, and tell us at once if you believe your account has been compromised.
04Acceptable use
Use WorkFast only for lawful business communication with people who have a reasonable expectation of hearing from your business. In particular you will:
- comply with all laws that apply to calls, texts and emails to your customers — in the United States the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and state consumer-protection laws; in India the TRAI regulations; and their equivalents elsewhere — and obtain and record any consent those laws require before we contact a person on your behalf;
- honour every opt-out, do-not-call and do-not-contact request; the service records them and will not contact those people again;
- not use the service for cold, bulk or unsolicited marketing, harassment, deception, impersonation, collection practices prohibited by the FDCPA or similar laws, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing or harmful;
- not access other customers' data, probe or disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or resell it without our written agreement;
- keep your connected accounts (email, calendar, phone numbers, business tools) authorised for our use.
Unauthorised use may lead to suspension and to action under these terms and applicable law. We may suspend or limit an account we reasonably believe is breaking these rules or putting others at risk, and will tell you why.
05AI, accuracy and approvals
AI employees are software. They can misunderstand, make mistakes or produce inaccurate text. The service is designed so that anything with a consequence — a message to a customer, money, a booking, a refund — is shown to you for approval unless you have explicitly set that employee to act alone. You are responsible for the rules and permissions you set and for reviewing what the service proposes.
06Plans and billing
- Hiring is free. Adding AI employees never costs anything.
- Plans are monthly. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of Works (actions that reach a customer, such as an email reply, a text, a follow-up or a call). Current prices are on the pricing page and in the app; they are the only prices that apply.
- First month. A new account's first month is billed at the reduced first-month price shown; the everyday monthly price applies from the second month. The first-month price is available once per account.
- Auto-renewal. Your plan renews each month on the same date and your payment method is charged the plan price until you cancel. Unused Works roll over while your subscription is active.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from Settings in the app (or, for USD purchases, through Paddle). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access, and the Works you have, until then. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
- Grace. If your balance reaches zero, work already in progress for your customers continues on a 100-Work grace so nothing stops silently; we tell you and offer a top-up.
- Taxes. Sales tax or VAT, where applicable, is calculated and collected at checkout by the merchant of record. Starting a purchase creates a binding contract for the plan you chose.
- Failed payments. If a renewal fails we retry and notify you. If payment is not received the plan may be paused; in-flight customer work finishes first.
07Your data
You own the data you bring to WorkFast — your business information, contacts, messages, calendar and the content your AI employees produce for you. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service for you: to read, store, process and transmit that data as the service requires, including through the providers described in the privacy policy. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models. Our use of information from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You can export your data from the app at any time and can ask us to delete your account and its data.
08Intellectual property
The service, its software, design, names and the content we create (other than content generated for you from your data) are proprietary to WorkFast and its licensors, and nothing in these terms gives you any right, title or interest in them. The output your AI employees produce for your business is yours. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works of the service except as the service itself allows.
09Third-party services and links
The service connects to third-party tools you choose (email, calendar, messaging, payment and business tools) and may link to third-party websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them, and connecting one is your decision.
10Ending the agreement
You can end it by cancelling your plan and closing your account. We can end it for a material breach of these terms that is not cured within 14 days of notice, or immediately for serious misuse. On ending, your right to use the service stops; we keep your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it in line with the privacy policy, except where we must keep records by law.
11Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care and aim for it to be available continuously, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted or achieve any particular business result. You are responsible for assessing that the service meets your requirements.
12Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkFast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the service. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the service in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of section 4, including claims by people your business contacted through the service.
13Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure to perform an obligation under these terms where performance is prevented or delayed by events beyond its reasonable control — including outages of telephone networks, messaging platforms, payment providers or cloud infrastructure, natural disasters, government action, or labour disputes — provided it uses reasonable efforts to resume performance.
14Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim relating to them or their enforceability, are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law gives you non-waivable rights, those rights are unaffected. The purchase transaction with Paddle is governed by Paddle's buyer terms. Before starting formal proceedings, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter in good faith by email within 30 days.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change. The date at the top shows the current version.
